Two ships carrying bulk urea and containers had arrived at the Lagos Port Complex on Wednesday, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), and were waiting to berth.
According to the authority, 17 additional ships were anticipated at the port between February 8 and February 17.
It listed items expected as: general cargo, bulk wheat, bulk salt, soya bean meal, container, boat, butane gas and bulk fertilizer.
It said that 20 other ships were discharging frozen fish, general cargo, container, bulk gypsum, base oil, petrol, bulk wheat, bulk salt, truck, bulk sugar and bulk urea. (NAN)
