Rights activist, Segun Awosanya, popularly known as Segalink, has accused singer Peter Okoye of Psquare of peddling propaganda.
This was after some followers of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, popularly known as Obidients, rubbish the claim by Reno Omokri that he was once a presidential aide.
According to them, Omokri only served as an errand boy under a man who was an aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan.
The issue was buried on Thursday after Omokri shared the letter of appointment he received when he became a presidential aide.
Reacting, Segalink tweeted, “I believe @PeterPsquare and his fellow travellers will give their propaganda a rest now. I don’t know why they are paranoid about the activities of other citizens who are not on the ballot.”
Meanwhile, the letter of appointment exposed Omokri’s account number, leading to many Nigerians sending him money.
Overwhelmed by the money he was receiving, he tweeted, “Many Nigerians have been sending me money since I published my pay slip and appointment letter. It is enough. I appreciate the gesture. May God bless you all. But please stop sending me money. Look for the nearest motherless babies home and give them what you intend to send to me.”
He added, “Ha! Let GT Bank not freeze my account. The rate you guys are sending me money is too much. Had more alerts today than any day in 2022. I never asked for money. I only published my payslip and appointment letter to show how Buhari has damaged Nigeria and how Atiku can repair her!”
