Peter Obi speaks on warm welcome at 70th RCCG convention

The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has spoken about the warm welcome he received at the 70th Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG Convention.

KEMI FILANI NEWS had reported that Obi got a rousing welcome from the congregation on Friday at Holy Ghost convention, tagged “Perfect Jubilee” at the RCCG international headquarters along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Reacting to the warm reception, the former Anambra State Governor through his verified Twitter handle said that the show of love humbled him and appreciated the opportunity to worship among the brethren.

Obi wrote, “Sharing moments of true worship last night with a great congregation at RCCG Convention was a special expression of joy, strength and love for me.

“I was humbled by the warm welcome, but above all, I am grateful for the opportunity to be in the midst of the brethren” he posted.
