Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has explained why he cannot leave his grievances to God concerning the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Wike said God has given him what it takes to crush his enemies, and he will flog them ‘pepperly”.
He stated this while speaking at a function in Abia State today, September 5.
According to Wike, while he was on a plane with Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu a while back, Ikpeazu told him to ”leave everything for God.”
The governor said he responded by saying he would never leave anything to God because ”God has given me what it takes for me to crush my enemies. I am going to flog them ‘pepperly.”
KEMI FILANI NEWS recalls that Wike has been at loggerheads with PDP leadership after he failed to secure the party’s presidential ticket and become the vice presidential candidate.
Recall that there has been speculation that Wike might leave the PDP following his fallout with Abubakar Atiku, who defeated him to clinch the PDP ticket in May.
Wike has been heaping jibes and jeers at Atiku and other top-ranking members of the party.
