The Director General, Obi-Datti Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe, has rubbished claims that he “chopped shishi” meant for the mobilisation of supporters of the Labour Party.
Okupe also dismissed claims that he had dumped the Labour Party and returned to the Peoples Democratic Party.
According to him, he has not shifted base because he’s still part of the movement aiming to deliver Nigeria from perpetual raiders.
He tweeted, “After ‘chopping shishi’, Doyin Okupe (D-G of Peter Obi’s LP Presidential Campaign Organisation) returns home to PDP!
“ANOTHER DIS INFORMATION AND LIE FROM OUR DETRACTORS. SO THEY WISH BUT THIS SOLID MOVEMENT WILL NOT RELENT UNTIL THESE EVIL PILLARS COLLAPSE COMPLETELY
“Lies, fabrications & disinformation are their tools. But in the end they will fail & be shamed. Doyin okupe has not chopped any shish neither has he shifted base by 1mm!!! We are moving frwd till God delivers us all from the Perpetual Raiders of this lost but glorious Ark. NAIJA.”
Labour Party presidential rally in Kogi flops
He had earlier been accused of describing the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a baby candidate.
Rubbishing the accusation, Okupe tweteed, “This is a season of lies, fabrications and disinformation. 1st they claimed I said ‘I can’t join issues with a baby presidential aspirants….’
“This is ridiculous & obviously pure mischief. unfortunately we are smarter than these demons & as God liveth grand failure awaits them.”
This is coming after allegations that funds meant for the mobilisation of supporters for the Labour Party presidential rally in Kogi was reportedly misappropriated.
The rally meant for the party’s candidate, Peter Obi, witnessed a poor turn out of supporters as the stadium was almost empty.
