The New Nigeria People’s Party presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and his running mate, Bishop Isaac Idahosa, paid a visit to the Archbishop of Metropolitan and Primate of the Anglican Communion, Dr Henry Ndukuba, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Saifullah Hassan, the media aide to Kwankwaso, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday after the meeting.
Amongst those who joined in the visit were President/CEO, IykeJordan Group Limited, Ikechukwu Nnahasi; Managing Director, Treasure Suites Limited; Godfrey Ejim.
Others include former and serving members of the House of Representatives, including Kawu Sumaila, Alhassan Rurum, Badamasi Ayuba and many others.
KEI FILANI NEWS recalls that the former Governor of Kano State and ex-Minister of Defence picked Idahosa as his running mate for the 2023 presidential election last month.
Kwankwaso explained that he chose Idahosa because of his outstanding record, impeccable integrity, and broad understanding of Nigeria and its contemporary challenges.
He stated this in a statement titled, ‘Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso picks Bishop Idahosa as running mate’.
