The spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress campaign council, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has accused the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed, of plagiarism.
According to him, their slogan of It’s POssible was originally used by the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nuhu Ribadu.
Keyamo shared a campaign poster of Obi and Datti alongside that of Ribadu when the former EFCC chairman contested for president under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria.
Both posters had It’s Possible as slogan, leading to claims by Keyamo that Ribadu was plagiarised by Obi and Datti.
He captioned his post, “The real MVPs of plagiarism and identity theft! Nothing original about them! #Neck-presser.”
Kyeamo went ahead to take a swipe at Obi who was recently mocked by comedian Akpororo for always attending church crusades and events uninvited.
He tweeted, “My beloved Christian brothers & sisters who’ve never seen some characters in their crusades since time immemorial & all of a sudden are playing host to these characters should realise that these characters are insulting their intelligence. Thy shall not take God’s name in vain!”
He had earlier taken a swipe at the Labour Party for dishing out money to supporters as against its earlier claims of not doing such.
He wrote, “Having realised the ‘one-chance’ they entered initially by saying ‘we no dey give shi-shi’, they have started demanding 5k each. Meanwhile, this is just the 5th month of the so-called ‘movement’. By the time they get as old as the PDP, they will be demanding for one cow each.”
