BREAKING: Tinubu emerges winner of APC presidential primary

The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has emerged the presidential candidate of the party ahead of the 2023 polls.

Tinubu amassed over half of the total votes to see off the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, and the former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

About 2,322 delegates from across Nigeria had stormed the Eagles Square to elect the flag bearer of the party.

Tinubu’s chances were brightened by seven aspirants stepping down for him before the voting began.
