Three state governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, met with Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on Friday in Port Harcourt.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, and Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State had a closed-door meeting with Wike at his private residence.
The APC governor’s visitation is coming amid speculations that Wike may dump the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, due to the fallout over the party’s presidential primary.
And the party’s presidential standard-bearer, Atiku Abubakar, refusal to pick Wike as his running mate for the 2023 general elections.
KEMI FILANI NEWS recalls that the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, also visited Wike in Port Harcourt last month.
