The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has appointed Kolawole Ologbondiyan as his fourth spokesperson for the 2023 presidential campaign.
Paul Ibe, Media Aide to the former Vice President, disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
Ibe said the appointment of the former PDP National Publicity Secretary takes immediate effect.
“Ologbondiyan was the former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP (Dec. 2017-Dec. 2021). He was the Director of Media and Publicity, PDP Presidential Campaign Council (2019 Presidential Election) and is now a member of the National Executive Committee of the party, he said,
The former spokesperson is to project Atiku‘s unique selling points and keep the electorate updated about goings on in the campaign.
He was the PDP National Publicity Secretary from December 2017 to December 2021.
He was the Director of Media and Publicity PDP Presidential Campaign Council (2019 Presidential Election) and is now a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party.
Ologbondiyan was Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to the former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark (2007-2015). He is a highly experienced journalist endowed with the requisite skills of communication.
Ibe added, “He rose through the ranks from being Proof Reader and Production Editor to becoming Assistant Politics Editor, Politics Editor, Group Politics Editor, Deputy Editor (Daily) and Digital Editor (Online) of the THISDAY Newspapers.”
