Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Senator Godswill Akpabio, Jigawa State Governor, Abubakar Badaru and others presidential aspirants of the All Progressive Congress, APC, have stepped down for former Lagos State governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the ongoing presidential primary in Abuja.
Other presidential aspirants who stepped down include: Former House of Representatives Speaker Dimeji Bankole; Jigawa Governor Abubakar Badaru and Deputy Senate Majority Leader Senator Ajayi Boroffice and Uju Ohanenye.
KEMI FILANI NEWS had reported that the Director-General of the Yemi Osinbajo Campaign Organisation, Senator Kabiru Gaya, said three APC Presidential aspirants have stepped down for the Vice-President few hours to the commencement of voting at the APC National Convention in Eagles Square, Abuja
The senator also claimed that the list of the APC presidential aspirants has been trimmed to just two – Osinbajo and Tinubu.
