The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has warned his counterpart in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to take good care of himself as the rigours of campaigning require a lot of effort.
Kwankwaso gave the warning during an interview on Arise Television on Sunday after Tinubu announced Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.
KEMI FILANI NEWS had earlier reported that Tinubu announced Shettima as his running mate after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at his Daura home in Katsina State on Sunday.
Recall that since the former Lagos State governor declared his intention to run for the presidency, there have been concerns about his health.
Stressing the rigours of campaigning, Kwankwaso said, “If you see my friend, Bola, tell him to take it easy, take good care of his health and make sure that… because I love him so much, he is my friend,” he said.
“This campaign is very rigorous; it requires a lot of effort and so on and so forth. I hope he will take it easy so that we can continue the struggle to ensure one solid and prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
