The month of September is about to run to an end in few days, and it has become our monthly ritual to give you our list of top Nigerian songs released in 2021.
We believe you are missing if you don’t have some of these songs on your playlists as they are some of the biggest jam for September.
This month we saw a collaboration from Adekunle Gold and DMW label boss Davido, Mavin artist Ayra Starr continues to dominate and could be on her way to win an award this year. The popular collaborators Olamide and Phyno also joined Phenom in a new track; it is no longer news that Baddoo and Phyno are brothers from different mothers.
Nigerian lawyer turn musician, Folarin Falana also known as Falz, dropped another track titled Body Language.

1. High – Adekunle God ft Davido
This is one of the most trending jam songs at the moment as AG Baby and the DMW label boss gave fans some thing to dance to the end of the year. The song was produced by Pheelz and mixed by Vtek.
Recall that Adekunle Gold had earlier on released a song dubbed Sinner.
2. Loving is Hard by Johnn Drille
Mavin acts Johnny Drille gave us a visual to his song Loving Is Hard, which is the lead track from his latest album, “Before We Fall Asleep.”
The visual of the song was directed by Bobby Hanaford.
3. Harmattan and Winter by Brymo
Talented Nigerian singer and song writer, Brymo dropped the visuals for his song Harmattan and Winter, a track of his album ‘9′.
Brymo’s new album comes in two-edition; the Yoruba version titled Esan album, and the English side dubbed Harmattan & Winter album.
4. Jailer by Olamide ft Jaywillz
YBNL boss, Olamide in September, dropped the visuals for his song dubbed Jailer, where he featured the upcoming act, Jaywillz; the song, like many of Baddoo’s songs, have been well received by his fans and followers.
This comes after the release of the visual of his song ‘Julie’. The visual of Jailer was directed by Clarence Peters.
5. Billionaire (Go Baby) by Omawunmi
Top Nigerian female singer and song writer, Omawunmi dropped the visuals for her song Billionaire in September.
For those who don’t know, the song is a track off her latest album, “Love Deep High Life,” which contains 10 songs where she featured the likes of Brymo, Phyno, Waje and Ric Hassani.
6. Aunty Lovina by Ycee ft Patoranking
Ycee dropped a new song titled Aunty Lovina in September which comes after his recent song dubbed, ‘Nu Riddim‘.
Aunty Lovina is an Afro-fusion record, which blends Amapiano with Rap and Dancehall.
7. Sweety by Yemi Alade
One of Nigerian favourite singers, Yemi Alade, dropped the visual for her song Sweety this month, and it happens to be one of our favourites.
Sweety was directed by Dr Ovie is a high life song which will leave you nodding your head as you listen. To the horns and percussion.
8. Body Language by Falz ft Ajebo Hustlers
Falz dropped newest single body language, which is currently receiving good reaction from fans. Yung Willis produced the new song.
9. Shamanya by Phenom ft Olamide and Phyno
Phenom dropped a new single titled Shamanya, where he featured top Nigerian artistes, Olamide and Phyno, in a mid-tempo tune; the song was produced by Craybeats.
10. Gaza by DJ Neptune ft Patoranking
DJ Neptune released a new song titled Gaza featuring Patoranking. The second is his second single of the year.
GAZA is mix of Amapiano-Pop/Dancehall produced by Yung Willis.
