Laycon and Toby Shang Team Up To Bless Icons and The Streets With A New Anthem Title In 2000.

Laycon, an award-winning Nigerian singer and Afropopper, enlists the help of Afrohype sensation Toby Shang for the release of this special track, “2000,” produced by Quebeat.

Laycon is a Fierce Nation Entertainment artist that was born and raised in Lagos. Laycon says of his musical style, “I try to diversify my creative as much as possible and aspire to become more diverse.” I can both rap and sing. I also play a few musical instruments, so I’m a bit of everything.”

Laycon released his debut label song, ‘Fierce,’ featuring Chinko Ekun and Reminisce, in the second half of 2019. He began 2020 with the release of his highly anticipated “Who Is Laycon” EP in April.

The new song “2000” is Laycon’s second 2022 single, following up on the first, ‘New Dimension,’ which featured Made Kuti. This song is about the ‘Show Me Love’ chicks, individuals who are always in need of $2k, social media influencers, and We Outside Gang.
