Beyoncé releases new album “renaissance”

Six years after “Lemonade,” Queen Bey has officially returned with her eighth studio album “Renaissance.”

The 16-track LP is the first chapter of a “three act project,” including lead single “Break My Soul” among the tracks.

Guest vocalists on “Renaissance” include Jamaican-born, Miami-raised reggae musician Beam on “Energy,” and Grace Jones and Tems on “Move.”

Beyonce revealed the project three years after she began working on it, saying in press materials, “Creating this album provided me a place to dream and to find escape amid a dangerous moment for the globe.” “It gave me a sense of freedom and adventure at a time when little else was moving.” My objective was to create a secure haven, free of judgment. A sanctuary from perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, let go, and feel free. It was a lovely journey of discovery.”

The record, however, leaked two days before its intended release date.

“So, the album leaked, and you all really waited till the correct release time so you can all enjoy it together,” Beyonce wrote following the record’s official release. “I’d never seen anything like it before.” I can’t express how grateful I am for your love and protection. I appreciate you calling out everyone who was attempting to enter the club early. It means everything to me. Thank you for your steadfast support. Thank you for your patience. We’ll take our time and listen to the music. I will continue to give you my all and do everything in my power to offer you joy. “I adore you.”

Remember that the lead single “Break My Soul” was almost leaked, but Beyonce released it hours ahead of schedule.
