(Movie Review) Mama Drama: The twist of true Motherhood and Surrogacy

Away from the Coronavirus epidemic and the whole social distancing and self-isolation, let us thrill you a bit with what we think about this new movie, Mama Drama.

Mama Drama was out in cinemas on Friday, March 20, 2020 and Ella Chioma of Kemi Filani News was privileged to see it before the Coronavirus madness.

The movie produced by Joy Grant-Ekong saw Osas Ighodaro (Mena) and Kehinde Bankole (Kemi) battle child custody.

Mama Drama tells the deep story of Mena and her surrogate mother Kemi who both enter into an agreement to help birth Mena’s baby into the world, things don’t go quite as planned and now they both must make the hardest decision of their lives.

Featuring other great actors like Femi Adebayo, Shaffy Bello, Chinyere Wilfred, Adunni Ade, Kunle Remi and Opeyemi Aiyeola, Mama Drama also tackled the issue of men getting married to older spouses.

If you want to marry an older partner, this movie is the best bet for you to arm yourself with all the obstacles that might come your way.

Again, if you are not emotionally stable, this movie is not for you. It is quite touching but lesson filled.

Mama Drama also touches on surrogacy, family ties, marriage and troubles of Mothers in-law.

Few casts, message passed, suspense-filled ending and above all, no unnecessary scenes.

We love every part of the movie, including the few comic scenes by Femi Adebayo.

Please guys, once the movie is back to the cinemas, you should go see it. You would looooove it!
