Movie Review: Reasons why ‘A simple lie’ will get you hooked

If you just wanna have a good time, laughing out loud then you should see Biodun Stephen’s ‘A simple lie’ movie which hit the cinema on Friday, March 25, 2022.

The movie which stars Bisola Aiyeola, Emmanuel Ikubese, Bolaji Ogunmola, Kie Kie Adeaga and Kachi Nnochiri truly lived up to its comedy genre and promise of laughter.

The romantic comedy centered on a seemingly cheeky lie told in an unplanned moment that ticked off chain catastrophic events, imbued with a plethora of emotions, to keep viewers captivated and well entertained. And yes it won with all the dramas and impeccable delivery!

We totally enjoyed the story line, plots, discussions and loved all characters especially funny skit maker, Kie Kie Adeaga and her hilarious rants.

The costumes and styling in the movie is also worthy of mention.

The major lesson to take away from the movie is that a lie we consider small and harmless can cause damages and leads to chaos.
