‘Finding Hubby’


The Olufemi Ogunsanwo directed comedy follows 35-year-old Oyin Clegg and her friends Toke and Gloria as they kiss the many frogs in the quest to find their prince.

It stars Ade Laoye, Munachi Abii, Kehinde Bankole, Charles Etubiebi, Paul Utomi, Efa Iwara, Tina Mba, Tope Tedela, Demi Banwo, Teniola Aladese, Delroy Norman, Omowunmi Dada, Elma Mbadiwe, Eso Dike, Damilola Ogunsi, Oludara Egerton-shyngle, Asa’ah Samuel, Rehia Osarentin, Chris Isibor.

Take it from us, this movie is quite interesting and relatable, although it was predictable and we don’t really like the way it ended.

‘Day of Destiny’ (DOD)


Kemi Filani has reviewed this movie some months back after we visited the cinema. It was not so worth the 2,500 spent, however, because it is now showing at the comfort of your home, you will kind of enjoy it.

Directed by Anthill Studios’ Akay Mason and Abosi Ogba, the Nigerian Sci-fi family adventure follows the story of two teenage brothers who travel back in time by 20 years to change the fortunes of their family. It stars Denola Grey, Olumide Oworu, Toyin Abraham, Ireti Doyle, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ini Dima-Okojie among others.

2 Weeks In Lagos


If you’re based in Lagos and know more about the lifestyles of some Lagosians, you will really find this movie interesting.
2 Weeks in Lagos is a turbulent and thrilling journey into the lives of Ejikeme and Lola. Their lives collide when investment banker Ejikeme comes home from the United States with Lola’s brother Charlie to invest in Nigerian businesses. Upon meeting Lola, Ejikeme falls in love with her and must defy his parents’ plan to marry him to the daughter of a wealthy politician. 2 Weeks in Lagos captures the excitement, vibrancy, and complexity of everyday life in Lagos, a dynamic city where anything is possible in 2 Weeks. The movie features, Mawuli Gavor, Beverly Naya, Shaffy Bello, Jide Kosoko, Toyin Abraham, Joke Silva, Tina Mba, Okey Uzoeshi, Deyemi Okanlawon and more.

Rattle Snake


Pretty much like the original Ahanna (Stan Nze) is left to fend for himself after the death of his father. When he discovers his Uncle and mother have begun a life together, he reunites with Nzenuozo (Bucci Franklin) and Amara (Osas Ighodaro) and, they birth the Armadas, an armed robbery gang with conflicting interests.
This movie was one of the blockbuster movies of 2020, so, now it’s time to sit at home and savour this movie.

‘Sanitation Day’


Set in 2016, ‘Sanitation Day’ is based on two inspectors who must unravel the mystery surrounding a grisly murder case before sanitation day is over. The feature film is written by Dichie Enunwa, Seyi Babatope and Temitope Akinbode. It stars Blossom Chukwujekwu, Elozonam Ogbolu, Nse Ikpe Etim, Charles Inojie, Baaj Adebule, Chuks Chyke, Belinda Effah, Olakunle Fawole.
