Earlier today, Governor Sanwo-Olu’s mother’s house in Lagos was set on fire by hoodlums following the killings on peaceful protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate on the 20th of October, 2020.

According to an eyewitness who wished to remain anonymous, the angry youths gathered around Sanwo-Olu’s family house on Omididun street, Lagos Island at Around 7.45am. The youths were seen throwing stones and shattering glasses, adding that one of the youths who held a jerry can of petrol was seen soaking the house in petrol but was quickly stopped by residents for fear that the fire could spread uncontrollably.
