A Delta State based couple, Mr Ifeanyi Akpa and his wife, have been arrested by the police for a brutal attack on a teenage boy who is said to be their maid. The residents of Osubi community in Delta state handed the supposed guardians of the unnamed fifteen year old over a serious case of child abuse

According to activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who shared the photos online, a resident of the community to have said’

‘Chigozie does all the domestic work in the house, sells pure water during the day and yet they won’t allow the poor boy have peace’.

The already escalated matter would cause an investigation and possibly jail sentence to the couple in question, who are yet to give reasons as to the maltreatment

Meanwhile, upon hearing the news, the Speaker Delta State house of Assembly Hon Oborevwori Sheriff has directed that the boy be taken away from the couple and be given a scholarship.
