NDLEA nabs man trafficking cocaine to fund his wedding in January, 2021

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Special Area Command, Abuja has caught one Elechi Adendu Kingsley, 39, for trafficking cocaine from Brazil.
In a report, NDLEA spokesman, Jonah Achema stated the new method of trafficking cocaine was uncovered in a recent operation.

“The operation involved Elechi Adendu Kingsley, a Nigerian aged 39, who was arrested with a bag containing cellophane bags during the inward clearance of Ethiopian Airline flight ET 911,” the statement read.

Achema stated that Elechi, the suspect, an indigene of Umulolo Local Government Area of Imo State who has been living in Brazil for the past 13 years said he would not blame anybody for his involvement. He also revealed that Elechi al was promised N3 million upon safe delivery of the drugs to somebody in Nigeria, adding he was in Nigeria for his wedding that is to be held in January 2021.
