Man who lured and raped seven underage girls, nabbed

The Police Command, plateau state division have arrested a 55-year-old man, Abdulhamid Sale, for raping seven underaged in Bukuru, Jos South LGA of the state.

The community youth leader, Aliyu Hassan, said the suspect was nabbed after one of the mothers of his victim told the members of the vigilante group about the changes in her daughter.

“Our investigation revealed that he raped seven girls, mostly 13-year-olds in Kugiya area of Bukuru, who are mostly hawkers, by luring them with as little as N50, and small Tecno Phones,” Aliyu said

The spokesperson of the state police command, ASP Gabriel Ubah, comfirmed the report and also disclosed that the suspect is in the custody of the police and would be charged to court as soon as investigation into the matter is concluded.
