Lagos State Government has lightened eight communities that have been in darkness for six years.
Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary, in a statement confirmed this saying power supply has now been restored to all eight communities.
According to the statement, the governor fixed the black out issue after a parley with traditional rulers and village heads in the affected community.
The monarchs in their plea disclosed that they could not trace the cause of the power outage, and the power distribution company in the area could not give a tangible reason for the blackout.
The monarchs further reveals that despite the repairs done on the electric cables in the area by the community leaders, the area has not had more than 30 mins of electricity in the last six years.
