Journalist, Tope Delano shares her touching battle with rape, assault and depression

Journalist, Tope Delano has shared a very emotional story of how she was molested as a child, raped by people she trusted, fallen into depression, lost loved ones and how she has dealt with all of it.

32-year-old, Tope Delano took to Twitter to share a long thread detailing her journey to survival. She wrote, “I was molested between ages of 7 and 11, raped twice, battled depression almost half her life, dealt with post-partum depression, lost 4 persons in a space of 1yr 5 month”.

She went ahead to call on people to listen to other people’s stories without telling them off or dismissing that it will just be alright.
