    Gunmen shoot newlywed wife going to see her In-laws in Benue

    A newlywed lady who was travelling for the first time to see her In-laws on Wednesday, May 3, 2018, has been shot by unknown gunmen on her way there.

    According to reports, she was not particularly the target of the attack as she was travelling in a vehicle transporting people from Makurdi to Naka in Gwer loal government area of Benue State.

    The attack was said to be carried out by Fulani herdsmen who opened fire on the vehicle and all its passengers leading to the death of one and others injured.

    She has since gone to seek medical help to enable her travel to Naka to meet her husband’s people.
