    Adekunle Gold blasts Federal Government over plan to ban generators

    Popular Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has taken to social media to blast the federal government of Nigeria over plans to ban generators in the country.

    The expectant father and husband to Simi called out the Federal Government for its inability to provide power across the country but are in a haste to ban alternative source of power.

    He wrote: ” A government that can’t provide constant electricity thinks it’s genius to ban generators nationwide. “

    Senator Bima Enagi of Niger state is the one sponsoring the bill against the use of generator sets in Nigeria.

    The bill which passed its first reading at the National Assembly will also see the mailing of those who sale and use (home/personal) generators.
