Fandi David, 26, appeared before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for allegedly stealing aluminum windows worth N5,525,000 million.
David, whose address was not provided, is charged with three counts of conspiracy, stealing, and burglary.
He, on the other hand, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
According to the prosecutor, Insp. Funmi Akinleye, the defendant and others still at large committed the crimes on January 16 on Awolowo Way in Ikeja.
She said that the defendant burgled an office apartment on the third floor of a building and stole 24 aluminum glass windows worth N5.525,000 million, property of one Dr Obafunso Peter.
According to her, the offences contravene Section 411, 280 and 287 (7) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Magistrate, Mrs O.O. Fajana, admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Fajana adjourned the case until Feb. 27 for mention. (NAN)
