Popular US-based Nigerian radio personality, Disc jockey Sheila O continues her impressive dominance in the entertainment industry as she launches an e-channel “How far?” on Youtube.
The new channel is a weekly entertainment hub that will showcase thrilling musical contents from Afrobeats down to hip hop and much more. Launched earlier this month in Chicago, Dc, Houston, Miami, the chanel has gain widespread visibility including airing on various radio stations and popular SiriusXM HURVoices Channel 141in USA.
Speaking to press at the launch, Sheila said: ” I am fortunate enough to be able to bring this project to reality. I extend all gratitude to everyone who assisted in everyway possible. My sincere appreciation to our partners Aflik TV, Sirius Radio, H. U. R voices, Amazing fm and power 92 fm for helping us create visibility throughout every stage of the launching.

Aside her multiple strides in the entertainment industry, Sheila double as youth peace ambassador in Nigeria and was recently nominated by MIPAD/ United Nations as one of the most influential People of African Descent, Under 40-year- old, Class of 2018 as part of the United Nations International Decade for People of African Decent (2019 – 2024).

Remi Aluko popularly referred to as Igwe of Fuji, have been using the period to entertain their teeming fans with Facebook Live Party. In the case of Igwe who started the new trend early, he called it: “Isolation Party” and had one or two members of his band in the sitting room with him. While he stood before the lead microphone to sing, a band member maintaining social distance from him was there backing him up, and another was playing keyboard, while one other held firmly to a talking drum he was beating to the percussion. And they were all live on Facebook with the aid of a smart phone positioned to capture all of them as they kept entertaining everyone watching.

Gospel cum Juju singer, Akinola Ayoola Michael popularly known as Alayo Melody Singer, Juju Singer, Olabanji Omoyeye popularly known as Dugbe and Boye Best have all also resorted to the online platform to do shows and make money.
They all added a bit of enterprise to theirs as they would title the live shows with their names and account numbers such that, any of their fans who starts to watch and they praise-sing them after their names must have popped up, could appreciate them by sending money into their bank accounts for the recognition and eulogy.
