Former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, recently took to social media to weigh in on the controversy that trails women and makeup.
In a recent Instagram post, Omokri who is known for his social media criticisms, shared a post of a before and after makeup photos of a lady, more or less tagging it fraud and a strong basis for the dissolution of any marriage.
Omokri stated that makeup should enhance a woman’s beauty and not transform a woman into something she’s not. He went on to use the photos as a reason men should never marry women they’ve not seen without makeup.
In his words: “This is the reason why I said you should never marry anyone you have not seen without make up.
In fact, some marriages should be dissolvable on the basis of fraud. This is not make up. This is deception, intended to lure men into a union they would not have entered otherwise. Make up should enhance your beauty. It should not transform you into what you are not.”
