Floyd Mayweather sued by a Nigerian company, Zinni Media
US boxer, Floyd Mayweather has been sued by a Nigerian company with claims that he scammed them. According to TMZ, the company Zinni Media is suing the boxer for skipping out on five scheduled appearances.
It is alleged in the suit that the company booked Mayweather for appearances in Ghana and Nigeria to the tune of $375,000. Floyd provided the company with a video confirming the appearances after the deal was made. He was wired a $210,000 advance, but days before his first appearance, he failed to show up.
Zinni Media also claim there was an offer to reschedule for December 2017, with an increased price of $550,000. The company accepted, but Mayweather once again bailed and allegedly hasn’t returned the money they paid.
The boxer has now been charged to a federal court in California by Zinni Media who are asking for $2 million to set things straight.
