Kenneth Omeruo’s wife calls Jay Jay Okocha a mad man for criticizing her husband
Chioma Omeruo, wife of Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has slammed former Nigerian captain Austin jay Jay Okocha for expressing his disappointment at her husband’s performance in the Super Eagles loss to Argentina.
“I am a bit disappointed with Omeruo, he would have seen the run of Messi and maybe take a step or two to be able to cut that ball off.” Okocha said during his analysis of the game on SuperSport.
Reacting to the comment by Jay Jay Okocha, Chioma, who tied the knot with her husband Kenneth Omeruo last month, slammed the Nigerian football legend by calling him a mad mad.
Kenneth Omeruo failed to keep an eye on Lionel Messi who made a brilliant run pass him to slot the ball pass the Nigerian goalkeeper in the first half. However, Nigeria bounced back from the spot with Victor Moses netting.
In the 86th minute, the Nigerian defense couldn’t hold the pressure from the Albeceleste’s attack as Marcos Rojo found the back of the net to secure a place for Argentina who will now be meeting France in the knock-out stage.
