Barcelona’s no. 9, Luis Suarez has spoken on his team semi-final loss to his former club, Liverpool.
The Catalan side were shocked yesterday as Liverpool overturned a 3-goal deficit by scoring four to edge them into the final of the Champions League.
Luis Suarez who returned to Anfield yesterday March 7, 2019 for the second leg of the match between the two sides didn’t smile home.
Suarez is actually upset as Barcelona have failed once again to reach the Champions League final with something similar happening last year. Suarez said:
“We are very sad, very hurt, It’s time to do a lot of self-criticism in our team, it is the second time that this has happened. We cannot commit the same mistake two years in a row, we have to think about many things and must be ourselves, tell us things in the face, things that we’ve done wrong. ‘It’s not possible that in one minute we concede two goals. Their fourth goal? We looked like a youth team there. ‘The coach does not have to be reproached, we are the ones who have to ask for forgiveness.”
