Chicken Republic is capitalizing on PDP spokesman Olisa Metuh’s
arrest for publicity. The fast food chain threw epic shade at the
embattled politician who is currently in detention after being charged
for receiving N400million from former NSA, Sambo Dasuki.
The ad shows fast food being delivered to outstretched hands behind
prison bars and the shady caption said it all, “why eat your words when
you can eat our meals?”, making reference to the fact that Olisa Metuh
was said to have torn and eaten his own statement.
Twitter Nigeria has reacted to the Chicken Republic ad and there are
two sides to the buzz it created. One one side, people think it was in
bad taste
