King Davidson, who won the World Boxing Organisation, WBO,
International Light Middleweight belt last week, has revealed the
inspiration behind his victory. He said a Nigerian prophet, TB Joshua
predicted he would become a world champion.
Davidson said: “He called me five
minutes before my fight and said ‘be very careful of your opponent, he
will try and hit you in the stomach.’ “He then asked me what I would do
if someone tries to fight like that. I told him ‘to put up a good guard
and keep out of reach.’ “He then said ‘you’ve got the key, now just do
it, I know you will win.’
“His encouraging words inspired me to go
out and win and I want to thank him so much for following me throughout
my career and everything he has said about me has come to pass.
