Justice Tanko Muhammad has been confirmed as the Chief Justice of Nigeria by the Senate.
His appointment was confirmed after a gruelling screening exercise at the National Assembly.
Tanko Muhammad arrived the senate at around 10:10am before making his way into the chamber around 11:30am
The confirmation of his appointment comes after he assumed the role of Chief Justice of Nigeria on January 25 following the suspension of former CJN Walter Onnoghen.
