Professor Ransford Gyampo and Dr. Paul Kwame, the two lecturers of the University of Ghana captured in a s*x for grades saga have been cleared of sexual misconduct.
Gyampo and Kwame appeared in a BBC s*x for grades documentary apparently soliciting for sexual relationship from undercover journalists disguised as students.
The result of an investigation done by the university’s Disciplinary Committee shows that “The committee finds that on the totality of the evidence before it, there is a huge variance between the import of the title: ‘Sx for grades’, and the content of the actual secret video recording of the affected lecturers of the University of Ghana.
“The committee notes that neither the documentary nor the BBC has provided any evidence to demonstrate that the affected lecturers demanded sx in exchange for grades, as asserted by the title of the documentary: ‘S*x for grades’,” the report said.
