Former Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani has stated that Leah Sharibu would have been rescued from her abductor had it been she was the daughter of a President, Governor or a highly placed Nigeria.
Leah Sharibu was among the 114 Dapchi schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists two years ago.
While the other girls have since been released, Leah Sharibu, the on;y Christian girl in their midst, was left behind.
Reacting to her continued abduction, Shehu Sani tweeted: “If Leah Sharibu was a daughter of a highly placed Nigerian; President, Governors, Senators, Business tycoons, Traditional rulers, she couldn’t have lasted this long in captivity. Let us all keep her and others in prayers.”
