Plans are in view by the Department of State Services (DSS) to detain the convener of Revolution Now, Omoyele Sowore, for 90 more days pending the conclusion of its investigation.
DSS has approached the Federal High Court in Abuja to seek permission to execute the plans.
After the case was mentioned, Justice Taiwo Taiwo, had to adjourn until Thursday for ruling, as he said he needed time to examine the exhibits filed along with the application, which include two copies of DVD.
It would be vividly recalled that Sowore was arrested in the early hours of Saturday in Lagos, on account of the Revolution Now protest which he had spearheaded.
