So people, we are gonna wait for 48 hours before Saturday’s election results will be announced!
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has just said it will announce the result of tomorrow’s Presidential elections within 48 hours after the polls close…so the winner should be announce at the very latest on Monday, March 30.
This info was given by Prof. Attahiru Jega the INEC chairman, earlier today in Abuja during a joint press briefing with the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumi.
The INEC Chairman also said that after casting their votes people can wait and the polling station to find out who won in their area.
He said “There is no controversy whether people should vote and go or stay. People should remain to know who wins in their polling unit as long as they remain calm. “
