Pope Francis has advised people to obey the guidelines given by authorities to help prevent a second wave of coronavirus as leaders move towards relaxing lockdown order.
The Pope disclosed this during his daily private morning mass which sees him speaking on the coronavirus pandemic.
He said, ”From Europe to the U.S to Asia, officials have been dealing with tensions and criticism of stay-at-home orders.
“In these days in which we are starting to have regulations to come out of quarantine, let us pray to the Lord that he gives his people, all of us, the grace of prudence and obedience to the regulations.
”People should obey rules aimed at preventing a devastating second wave of infections so that the pandemic does not return.”
The Pope stated this amid criticism against Italy’s Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, who is planning on relaxing Europe’s longest lockdown.
