A multiple accident involving 4 vehicles, 3 tankers, 1 tipper truck and 1 gas truck has occurred on Kara Bridge by Berger, outbound Lagos along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The unfortunate development which happened this morning has caused a heavy traffic challenge along the Lagos-Ibadan traffic corridor, especially outbound Lagos, a press release from, Cdr. Babatunde Akinbiyi, the TRACE Corps PRO reads.
It all started when two tankers, which went up in flames, affected another tanker and a trailer.
First responders including men of the Federal Fire Service have, however, arrived at the scene and have started rescue operations.
Also, officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps have started controlling traffic which has affected movement inward Berger.
In view of this, motorists presently moving outbound Lagos (out of lagos) are advised to seek alternative routes depending on their location, while those already stuck in traffic should please exercise patience, as TRACE, FRSC, POLICE and FIRE FIGHTERS form Ogun and Lagos States are working round the clock to ease the traffic logjam in order to normalize traffic.
