Max.ng, operators of Max Okada and Max Keke, have reacted to the ban placed on motorcycles and tricycles in Lagos State.
The company revealed that it is having conversations with stakeholders concerning the reform of activities of motorcycles and tricycles in Lagos State.
Max.ng also condemned the violent protest staged by some motorcycle and tricycle operators in Lagos yesterday against the ban which took effect on February 1.
A statement on their official twitter handle reads:
“Dear Valued Customers. We apologize for the inconveniences you have experienced due to the unavailability of our Champions in the areas affected by the motorcycle restriction policy.
“We are having conversations with key stakeholders and are very hopeful that the reforms would lead to a Greater Lagos. As always, we remain committed to operating within the highest safety requirements in line with @followlasg transportation plan.
“We also categorically condemn the violent protests recorded in some parts of Lagos today. We strongly advocate respect for the rule of law. We encourage you to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the police. #Say No to Violence ÌGBÉGA ÈKÓ TI DI ÀJÙMỌ̀ṢE”.
