Herdsmen abduct Ortom's SSA's father-in-law benue

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have killed at least two people in a fresh attack on Yerewata community in Benue State.

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom on Media and ICT, James Igbudu, who broke the news said his father-in-law was also kidnapped by the gunmen.

Taking to his Facebook page on Saturday afternoon, the Governor’s SSA wrote; “BREAKING!

Fulani Herdsmen attacked Yerewata again, kidnapped my father-in-law, Mr Iorver Igbo and killed two others.”

The Benue State Police Command was yet to comment on the development as at the time of filing this report.
