Garba Shehu, a Senior Special Assistant to President Buhari, has denied reports of having any knowledge of a ministerial list sent to the 9th senate.
Reports stated that Garba Shehu tweeted that President Buhari has sent a ministerial list to the senate for confirmation.
Taking to social media, Garba Shehu revealed that the information must have come from a parody account. He went on to state that he is not aware nor has been briefed of any ministerial list contrary to what was reported.
He tweeted:
“My Twitter account is a verified one. Whoever wants to know what I have said should go to it, not to a fake one. I have no breaking news on the appointment of ministers because I have not been briefed about it. Ignore the report they are attributing to me, please,”.
Few days ago, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha revealed that the new cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari will be revealed this July, 2019.
According to the SGF who spoke at the meeting of the African Export-Import Bank in Moscow, the delay was to allow the National Assembly complete its assigning of lawmakers into various leadership positions.
