Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the support allegedly shown for the hate speech bill by an officer at the American embassy.

The hate speech which is sponsored by Senator Sabi Abdullahi has passed its second reading amidst protest from Nigerians.

According to Fani-Kayode, the officer at the American embassy who allegedly showed support for the hate speech bill must be a member of the Ku Klux Klan.

He tweeted”

“Heard that an officer in the American Embassy expressed support for the Hate SpeechBill. Must be a member of KKK. If the founding fathers of his country had put the Hate Speech Bill in their laws every American Pres. from Washington to @realDonaldTrump would have been hanged at the gallows for violating its provisions.

“There are some things about Nigeria that are well-above the understanding, knowledge, comprehension and pay grade of junior officials and officers at the foreign embassies and this is one of them. The bugger should keep his big mouth shut, mind his own business and stay out of our affairs”.
