South Africa’s Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize has confirmed the first case of Coronavirus in South Africa since the outbreak of the deadly disease. A 38year old man who traveled to Italy with his wife has tested positive to Coronavirus.
The man was reported to be part of a group of 10 people that arrived back in South Africa from Italy on the 1st of March.
The patient had earlier consulted a private practitioner two days later with symptoms of fever, headache, malaise, a sore throat, and a cough.
