Vocal Slender (Some of you may remember him from the BBC Welcome to Lagos documentary) and Ariyike Akinbobola (TV personality) recently donated back-to-school items to kids in Ajegunle.
Vocal Slender now has a project called “Ghetto Love Project”
where he supports and motivates the less privileged. have teamed up to put smiles on the faces of children in Ajegunle, Lagos.

On Saturday 7th September, they visited Ajegunle and donated school
bags, sandals, snacks and school supplies to about 500 Ajegunle
children who were about to resume school.
Over the years, the children in the
community have been reportedly going to school without footwear and
school supplies.

“I want to use this opportunity to tell you to try and show kindness to
people. Putting a smile on other people’s faces is something I love to
do. It makes me happy and it surely makes me sleep better at night
knowing that someone somewhere is smiling just because of me.” Ariyike Akinbobola says!
