New reports surfacing online claim that the Shop rite/shopping mall in Abuja has been closed down over bomb threats – in order to avoid the Kenya Mall massacre situation, the popular shopping mall has been closed down.
A certain residee who broke the news on Nairaland said “I got a call from a friend who went shopping just now that Abuja shoprite is shutdown for bomb threat. The place is being combed. It appears Kenyan attack hasd become an inspiration to Bokoharam as I noticed that most shopping malls beafed up security. Can anyone there please substantiate this”
Reacting to his account, someone confirmed it saying “Saw some Nigerian Gendarmes – soldies/police – around there just an hour ago…….” while another said “I Shopped there this Morning. what I met was stop and search.” see more HERE
