Zubby Michael reacts as upcoming comedian defends him against attacks from Angela Okorie, others

Nollywood actor, Zubby Michael has reacted to a message from an upcoming comedian, Apkapka who made a case for the actor.

Zubby found himself in hot water for the past few days over his lack of show of love to his late colleague, Junior Pope.

Defending him, the comedian stated that Zubby Michael not publicly mourning him doesn’t mean he doesn’t love him. He noted how not everyone who mourned the late colleague, loved him truly.

Begging Nigerians to stop dragging him, he stated that the actor was hurting inside as he questioned if he must post for people to know that he was hurt.

“He didn’t post JP doesn’t mean he doesn’t love him or feels the pain. Stop dragging him for God’s sake, he’s hurt inside too. Must he post it before you know he’s hurt? Those who posted it did they like JP when he was alive? Please you guys should wise up and leave Zubby Michael alone”.

Reacting to it, Zubby Michael re-shares the post on his Instagram story, though he didn’t caption it.

Kemi Filani reported that after the news of Junior Pope’s death made rounds online, netizens had dragged Zubby Michael, who was the best man at his wedding, for not publicly mourning him.

Reacting to the criticisms, he told his critics to rest as he noted how not everything needs to be posted.

Angela Okorie had weighed in on the draggings, making it known that Zubby can never put up such a post because he knows why he is running. She noted how Zubby is fighting everyone in the industry because he wants to be the number one of Nollywood. Meanwhile, Junior Pope was his senior.

In another post, she noted how Zubby was Junior Pope’s best man during his wedding, yet he didn’t acknowledge him during his death.

She slammed the actor, noting how he isn’t anybody’s friend because of his envy and obsession with being number 1, and rained curses on him.
