The only thing Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie wants for his birthday today is to know his creator more.
The father of five, who has been in the news negatively for the past few days, took to his social media page to share new photos as he expressed gratitude to his Maker.
Pouring out his heart to God, he stated that his birthday wish was to know God more as he expressed gratitude to him for the gift of life, blessings around him, and much more.
Calling himself God’s special soldier, he added that he can never complain to his Maker.
“Happy birthday to me.
God’s special Soldier.
ISI MMILI JI OFOR.
EZEDIKE 1.
ODOGWU.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of life.
Thank you for blessing me with another year.
You have blessed me so much.
I can never complain.
Thank you, Lord, for everything.
My birthday wish is to know you more, oh Lord”.
Last year, Yul revealed how God saved his life in 2019 after a ghastly car accident, disclosing that he died after the accident, but God gave him a second life.
He claimed God told him that his second life, would be for his glory, his word, and for humanity as he would love for Him only.
Yul’s love for God isn’t surprising as he hasn’t only declared his love for God but also announced his calling into Ministry.
Edochie disclosed that he has a strong calling into Ministry, to serve God, claiming that he was called a long time ago into ministry, but he felt the time wasn’t right. Now he is ready to accept the calling, which didn’t sit well with many, especially with his adulterous lifestyle.
Reacting to the criticisms, Yul stated that no one can understand why God chose him, bragging that he isn’t the regular Minister of God.
In other news, on Thursday, Yul had written an epistle to his late son, Kambilichukwu in celebration of his first post-humous birthday.
Expressing sadness over his death, he revealed how God granted him his desire to see his son as he questioned how his son was fending for himself. The failed presidential aspirant admitted that life hasn’t been easy since his son’s death, but they are all doing their best to cope though the pain is terrible.
